Chris and Alexander, Oma & Opa, everyone at the table.

Het is enkel een onduidelijk beeld aangezien iedereen omhoog op Turkije, fijngestampte aardappels, het vullen en een bijzonder fluorescente oranje jellosalade laadt dat Chris voor de gelegenheid creëerde. Het herinnerde ons aan de beroemde oranje saus van Oma die met het Oranje concentraat van de Verbrijzeling van de Zuivelfabriek van de Baai van Barry... wordt gemaakt wij gebruikte het op de rijstpudding en iedereen hield van het... of dat zei de gedachte Oma tot één dag Opa dat hij nooit veel werkelijk als rijstpudding had. Oma was enkel een beetje dat met hem!! wordt geërgerd

On Christmas day, some of us gathered at Chris and Jason's house in Petawawa for dinner. Here you see Oma and Opa learning how to use a Ipod which Alexander got from Santa. Opa looks quite relaxed on the reclining part of the couch...it's quite the job to flip him back out of it once he's there...good thing his socks are clean!!!

Oma en Opa bij de viering van de Vooravond van Kerstmis bij het huis van Bert. Dit was grote Kerstmis voor het eerste grote kleinkind Kaydence aangezien zij opgewekt oud genoeg was te worden over voorstelt. Één van haar favorieten was de visser-Prijs schuur dievan zij genoot gooiend haar plastic koeien in de silo. Het was ook grote Kerstmis voor Benji die aan Sara bezet werd. Geen nog vastgestelde huwelijksdatum.

Christmas Eve at Bert's house. Here is onze Yetty and Oma and Opa. Wej waaren er allemaal...we had home-baked raisin bread and lots of cookies and squares and the usual large amount of cheese and chocolate and all the sweet fattening things we all love. Martien and Barbara and their kids arrived a little late but Marty wasted no time in building up one of famous butter and sugar slices of raisin bread!!!

A very mild winter so far here in the Ottawa Valley. The snow has all melted and it looks like a green Christmas. We had a visit on Saturday evening from Chris, Jason, Alexander and Shelby who were on their way home from a hockey tournament in Barry's Bay. We had planned to have supper together but it turned out to be a busy evening at the cafe so Chris ended up being a waitress for part of the evening. Oh well, we'll try again some other time...this is a picture of Chris and Jason in their official role as part of Canada's military.

It's hockey night in Canada...here you see Jesse who is Mary's son shooting the puck at his cousin Benji (Bert's son) in a game in Eganville. Most of the kids in the family play hockey...and Kirk, Benji, Alexander, Martien and Katie are all goalies....when you think about the Zomers family, just remember...the puck stops here!!!!
